What a performance from a depleted U13 side !
The U13 travelled to Dunvant with the bare bones of a team after 9 boys declared themselves unavailable. 13 boys turned out for the match - 11 boys from the U13 squad including two debutants joining from Penclawdd and 2 boys playing up from the U12s. With many boys playing out of their natural positions, this makeshift team dug deep and demonstrated great skill and a tremendous work ethic to more than match the confident Dunvant side.
For the second consecutive year Fall Bay found themselves on the wrong side of many of the 50-50 decisions but the boys persevered and showed tremendous maturity to eventually run out comfortable winners - this despite Dunvant miscounting and fielding too many players for all but 10 minutes of the game !
Final score... Dunvant 12 - Fall Bay 24
